PHOTOGRAPHERS - MODELS - HAIR STYLISTS - MAKEUP ARTISTS - CLOTHING DESIGNERS
As many of you know, this is something I've wanted to plan for a while now, and it's finally time! A big collaborative photo shoot to showcase all of your talents. The event will be located at my studio in historic Lawrence, MA. It's a beautiful renovated mill building with LOTS of space, high ceilings, and tons of interesting places to shoot. We will meet at 10AM, and while models go through hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling, photographers can check out the space and start getting set up. I'm working hard to make sure we have an adequate ratio of stylists to models to photographers so that no one is wasting time waiting around. If you like, you can partner up on your own, or you can ask to be paired/grouped up. Images will be uploaded by photographers after the event so that everyone involved has access for their portfolio. Please share this link with others in the creative field who may like to participate!

Shooting at night is extremely different than shooting in daylight, mostly because at night you can capture colors and movement that are impossible for the eye to see. In this course we will approach both the difficulties and benefits of shooting after dark. We will learn long exposures as well as creative light painting techniques. The majority of class time will be spent shooting outdoors, but we will also have photo sharing days to look at and discuss the work we’ve been creating.
